Radioactive: that's how it feels.
Everything turns to ashes, this much I know is real.
But if you think this life is but a joke
Join the other useless morbid folk
Before you catch a little bit of that radiation.
Wake up in the morning, now I wanna get high,
I've been thinking 'bout my brother so I pray to the sky.
Been feeling alright, dealing alright,
feeling all this weight upon my shoulder crush down on me like a boulder.
Getting older and bolder starting to smolder from the heat
While I'm calloused with malice bless the ground beneath my feet
It's not hard to be discrete in this jungle made of concrete
while all these movers and shaker they all have an end to meet
Radioactive: that's how it feels.
Everything turns to ashes, this much I know is real.
But if you think this life is but a joke
Join the other useless morbid folk
Before you catch a little bit of that radiation.
Sitting by a fire as energy burns, we all yearn for a desire waiting by our turn
If you live, then you learn. When you love, there's concern.
For every fleeting joyful moment there's another that's stern.
I've learned a lot in this life that I'm living.
Like never let the love you take exceed the love that you're giving.
Put yourself in their position, never judge before you listen and always keep your head up all despite of what we're missing.
Radioactive: that's how it feels.
Everything turns to ashes, this much I know is real.
But if you think this life is but a joke
Join the other useless morbid folk
Before you catch a little bit of that radiation.
Before I go (I try not to impose) I've learned a bit of wisdom and well this is how it goes
Love life and live while it lasts before it breaks down like a isotope and seeps into the past
For most of us it seems to go fast but what do affects the future history's a forecast.
If you can see the contrast between the now and the past: we can build a better future, save the world that we have
